Shelley Woods

Born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Shelley graduated Cum Laude from Coe College with a Bachelors degree in Business and Economics.  Serving in prior Director roles in the recruiting and non-profit sectors for nearly 25 years, she brings valuable experience in marketing, client relations, community engagement, public relations and development.

At Basepoint, Shelley actively manages marketing and advertising initatives, client & newsletter communications, website, blog and social media content, client and employee events, community involvement and engagement, and corporate sponsorships and charitable donations.

Shelley and her husband Jeff have a son, a graduate of the University of Iowa, and a daughter attending school in Chicago. She serves on the board of directors of Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa, is a JA classroom teacher, active volunteer for the Linn-Mar School Foundation and an ambassador for the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance.

Outside of work she enjoys her free time relaxing with her family and friends, volunteering for area non profit organizations, bike riding, paddle boarding, boating & fishing, a variety of fitness classes, reading, traveling,  and taking in great community & music performances.
