Landis is one of the founding partners of Basepoint Wealth and serves a dual role as a Senior Wealth Advisor and Director of Business Development. 

Born in Dubuque and growing up on a farm near Palo, IA, he is a 2007 graduate of Coe College.  Prior to his finance career, Landis experienced a 25 year career as a professional and collegiate soccer referee, started a software business while in college, and initially entered the workforce as a high school and community college teacher. 

Today, Landis lives in Robins, Iowa with his wife Sally and three sons who are avid baseball, basketball and golfers. Between kids activities, Landis enjoys spending time lowering his score on the golf course and being outside and active. 

Landis has been and is involved in numerous local organizations, including currently servicing as the Treasurer of the Board of Trustees for the Cedar Rapids Community School District Foundation, past member of the Executive Committee of the Cedar Rapids Country Club, and formerly a member of the City of Marion Planning & Zoning Commission. 

A problem solver at heart, he values being involved in organizations where he can make a difference and affect progress.
