Adding nearly 20 years of valuable advisory experience to our Basepoint Wealth team, KC thrives on giving clients confidence and hope in their financial future. The relationships he develops with clients are built on a foundation of trust and open communication.  Learning about what is important to each individual client and making sure those things are well taken care of is at the cornerstone of his holistic approach. KC successfully completed his CFP® designation in 2024.

A native Cedar Rapidian, KC graduated from Coe College with a double major in Business and Psychology and entered the financial industry as an advisor.  While at Coe, KC played football and golf for the Kohawks. These days he enjoys playing golf and basketball and is an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Along with his wife Ellen and sons Emmett & Freddie, they enjoy being active in their church and fishing and camping in Minnesota and Wisconsin each summer. KC is a volunteer and served as a former board member of the Salvation Army, an organization he continues to support. He fosters his love of learning through reading and traveling as much as possible. They hope to travel to St. Andrew's in Scotland in the future.
