Jake Brandt

Operations & Engagement Manager

Jake serves as Basepoint Wealth’s Operations and Engagement Manager, where he manages key projects, streamlines workflows, and supports advisors and staff in delivering efficient service. He also helps leads engagement efforts—building strong connections within the firm, with community organizations, and with prospective clients.

A Marion native, Jake graduated from Linn-Mar High School before earning his AA from Kirkwood Community College. He went on to graduate from the University of Iowa with a degree in Entrepreneurial Management, along with certificates in Leadership and Event Planning.

Outside of the office, he and his wife, Hailey, enjoy attending country music concerts, cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Chicago Cubs, and spending time with family, friends, and their pets—Ballie, Tamale, and Dunn. A longtime volunteer with HACAP alongside his grandmother and Basepoint colleagues, he looks forward to expanding his involvement in community service.

When asked what he values most about his role, Jake points to Basepoint’s family environment and its mission of giving clients confidence in their financial journey. “Finances play a big role in people’s lives and relationships.
