Emily Kucera brings more than 10 years of marketing experience, graphic design, and social media strategy to the Basepoint team. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Design and Marketing from Mount Mercy University and enjoys translating complex ideas into clear, engaging visuals and communications.

Originally from East Dubuque, Illinois, Emily now lives in Fairfax, Iowa, with her family. At Basepoint, she enjoys supporting the advisory team by creating and updating marketing and design materials that help communicate the firm’s expertise in a clear and memorable way for clients and prospective clients. She finds it especially fulfilling to turn the team’s deep knowledge into content that helps clients better understand the work being done on their behalf.

Outside the office, Emily enjoys camping with her extended family, traveling out West to visit relatives, reading historical fiction, and spending time with her two children. She also designs wedding invitations for clients, combining her creativity with her passion for meaningful life moments. When she’s not working on a design project, you can often find her attending local events with her family, including Fairfax USA Days, Solon Beef Days, the Iowa State Fair, and gatherings at their church.
