Meet Dan Hammes, our dedicated Operations Manager at Basepoint Wealth. With a solid educational foundation and a passion for organizational management, Dan brings a wealth of experience to our team.

Dan graduated from Wartburg College with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2007. During his time there, he was not only a standout student but also a four-year member and two-year team captain of the football team. His exceptional leadership skills were recognized when he was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame in 2020. Continuing his educational journey, Dan earned a Master of Arts degree from the University of Northern Iowa and later pursued his MBA from the University of Dubuque.

Originally hailing from Sigourney, IA, Dan now resides in Marion, IA, with his wife, Jen, and their two daughters, Ella and Ensley. Family is at the heart of Dan's life, and he cherishes time spent with them. When he's not in the office, Dan can often be found enjoying quality time with family and friends, indulging his passion for sports, and striving to improve his golf game.

Dan enjoys being involved in the community. He dedicated seven years to serving on the Cedar Rapids Sports Tourism Advisory Committee, demonstrating his commitment to making a positive impact locally.
