Jo Foster has spent more than 20 years in the banking, finance, and compliance industries. Before joining Basepoint, she dedicated over six years to training and federal regulatory compliance and spent 15 years in banking and finance. Through every chapter of her career, one thing has remained constant — her love for people and the connections she builds along the way.

Born and raised in Garnavillo, Iowa, Jo has proudly called the Hawkeye State home her entire life. She enjoys exploring new places but always loves returning home. At Basepoint, she appreciates the culture and camaraderie that make each day rewarding.

Jo approaches challenges head-on, believing problems can’t be fixed if they’re not addressed. She carries with her the wisdom of her aunt’s words — “The song has ended, but the music still plays,” — a reminder that our impact continues long after each moment has passed.

Outside of work, Jo enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music, reading, gardening, and taking motorcycle rides. A proud St. Louis Cardinals and Michigan Football fan (“Go Blue!”), she also loves planning new adventures. Her travel bucket list includes destinations like Savannah, the Fort Worth Stockyards, New England, Hawaii, Alaska, Italy, the Maldives, and Bora Bora.
